Morning breakfast at Missy Bon Bon
Yesterday our group of bloggers in Cagayan de Oro got invited by the owners of a new hip breadshop in town the Missy Bon Bon. The place is a cozy, relaxed and world class artisanal breadshop serving healthy, natural and freshly made bread onsite with unique fusion interpretations of local bread products, gourmet comfort food, custom gelato mixes and freshly brewed coffee.
I ordered their double cheese ham omelet and you can taste the difference, you can taste the olive oil that is use on it. Their gelato taste so good that i always drop by since they opened. It has been a yummy journey across different bread selections, gelato mixes, sweet desserts and sumptuous meals. Where else can you find healthy, natural and fresh flavors that’s just waiting to be savored? Missy Bon Bon is at the corner of Rosario Drive, Limketkai Center just infront of Mcdonalds. It is there 2nd and biggest branch after the highly talked about opening of their first humble store at the 2nd level of Robinson’s Place Cagayan.
They are now serving 18 flavors of Gelato. From the classics, Double Chocolate, Cappucino, Summer Melon to the more premium flavors such as Stracciatella, Hazelnut, Sans Rival. A wide selection that are made fresh daily using only pure cow’s milk and other fresh ingredients. That’s why gelato is the healthier choice when it comes to indulging your sweet tooth for ice cream.
Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner? They’ve got it covered. The breakfast menu includes gourmet omellettes to the downright delicious Steak and Eggs. The sandwich, soup, pasta and salads are great for a light lunch or merienda. Full meals are not to be missed. Take the Chicken Firenze, baked chicken breast that’s still crispy on the outside and stuffed with spinach and melting mozzarella cheese. Just perfect!
From Morning, Noon to Late nights, there’s always a reason to go to Missy Bon Bon. Now isn’t it time for you to head down to Missy Bon Bon and start your day right?

My Uptown Malling Experience at SM City Cagayan de Oro

SM City Cagayan de Oro is one of the major shopping center in the City. It is located in the upper Carmen area within the Pueblo de Oro town ship. The SM City Mall in Cagayan de Oro is situated over a mountain top which is becoming a little town in itself with the many residences within several subdivisions in the vicinity.
SM City Cagayan de Oro is now dubbed as an uptown mall in the city as I mention awhile ago it is situated on a mountain top. Whenever I go shopping I specially prefer going to SM City since it’s not very crowded especially during weekdays unlike the other malls in downtown area which is very crowded with different kinds of people. The parking place is also good with its multi-story parking building, it is very comfortable specially when it is raining and unlike in the other malls you have to run in the open parking lot to get in the car, and during hot days where the sun can heat-up the interior of the car uncomfortably after going around the mall its very uneasy if it’s not a covered parking which is also very advantageous if you go to SM City since there parking building is very cool and inside the building.
One thing I also like going to SM City is because it’s not a flood prone area and you will not be worried when there is a heavy down pour where it can get you stuck inside the mall for long hours with nothing to do since you cannot go to your car with the flooded parking lot which I already experience in the downtown area mall.
Right now I’m blogging inside the SM City mall with the launching of their newly setup free Wi-Fi Internet access all over the mall and it’s quite fast and I hope these will be maintain and continued to be free. I now have more reasons to standby inside the SM City mall with its several good coffee shops along the hall way.
